MARCH
2nd – 28th
‘Old Town’

In time for the launch of the Priory 900 festival, an exhibition that celebrates the architecture in Bridlington’s Old Town. Original work by Pam Grimmond, Amanda Hughes, Leanne Broadbent, Katherine McDermid and more.

APRIL
6th – 27th
Alice Fox & Stef Mitchell

Original textile pieces by Alice Fox, 2012 artist in residence at Spurn Head, plus hedgerow inspired prints by Stef Mitchell and ceramics by Margaret Lawrenson.

Colin Self

Exhibition of signed etchings by Colin Self, an important printmaker whose works are in the Tate Collection.

MAY
4th – 25th
Peter Blake

New limited edition screen prints, including some rare issues, by acclaimed pop artist Sir Peter Blake.

‘The Three Brothers’

Original work created using timbers from this original Bridlington coble boat built in 1912, to be re-launched in Summer 2013.

JUNE
1st – 29th
‘Gardens & Flowers’

A mixed exhibition of work highlighting the importance of gardens to our native insects. Participating artists include Samantha Bryan, Meg Burkill, Helaina Sharpley, Esther Munday, Hector Fraser and Natalie Musgrave.

JULY
6th – 27th
Sharon Winter &
Adele Howitt

New original work by celebrated local artist Sharon Winter, whose work is inspired by fairytales and legends, plus narrative ceramic pieces by Hornsea artist Adele Howitt.

AUGUST
3rd – 31st
‘Hockney’

Limited edition Grimms Fairy Tale and rare recent etchings and prints by David Hockney, both signed and unsigned.

Giuliana Lazzerini

New original oils, watercolours and prints by Giuliana Lazzerini.

SEPTEMBER
7th – 28th
Barbara Rae

Limited edition screen prints by renowned Scottish artist Barbara Rae.

‘Bodyscape’

A mixed exhibition of portraits and figures by a selection of artists from Yorkshire and further afield.

OCTOBER
5th – 26th
Claire West & Shirley Vauvelle

New original work by two of our most popular Gallery artists. The exhibition will feature colourful, light-hearted paintings by Beverley artist Claire West, and mixed media coastal inspired sculptural pieces by North Yorkshire artist Shirley Vauvelle.

NOVEMBER
2nd – 30th
Corinne Young & Alexandra Abraham

New exhibition of decorative art by local textile artist Corinne Young (inspired by her 2013 residency in the Old Town) with colourful, embellished 3d pieces by London-based artist Alexandra Abraham.

DECEMBER
7th – 21st
‘Christmas Showcase’

A jewel-bright selection of 2D and 3D affordable art by some of our gallery favourites, beautiful gifts and a display of jewellery by the talented students of Jackie Warrington.

  6. naturally like your website but you have to test the spelling on quite a few of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling problems and I in finding it very troublesome to tell the truth on the other hand I will certainly come back again.
