The High Barn holiday cottages are located near the seaside town of Bridlington in the Yorkshire Wolds and are within easy reach of Hull, Scarborough and York.
Opened in May 2011 each of the five cottages sleeps up to four guests and are finished to the very highest standards, our eco-friendly cottages are set around an impressive south-west-facing paved courtyard. Facing south and west, every window affords a view either of our restored dew-pond or our wild-flower meadow, against a backdrop of the open fields of our farm and, from the first floor, a vista over Bridlington Bay.
Our ground-floor holiday cottages provide level access and wet-rooms for wheelchair access by disabled guests.
Located very near to where David Hockney has created much of the art work that is on display in galleries around the world, Field House Farm makes an ideal base for exploring the Yorkshire Wolds rolling hills and valleys.
Nearby in Bridlington you will find award winning seafront promenades, Blue Flag beaches which stretch as far as the eye can see. Flamborough head is famous for its chalk headland where there is the RSPB reserve at Bempton on the Heritage Coast which is home to Britains largest mainland colony of gannets. Other bird life include Puffins, Guillimots, Kittiwakes and many other seabirds.
Take pleasure cruises from Bridlington Harbour across Bridlington Bay and see the massive cliffs of Bempton which are amongst the highest sea cliffs in Britain rising to over 100 metres high.
The Spa Royal Hall on South Marine Drive in Bridlington is home to Gallery @ the Spa which has regular art shows from local artists.A part of Bridlington is the Old Town, which is home to the 15th century Priory Church, art galleries, antique shops, tea rooms and restaurants.
The Spa Royal Hall is a venue for many visiting shows which have included Jimmy Cricket, Status Quo, the Viking FM Big Bash and chart topping singer Jessie J.
