Hockney Exhibition at Cartwright Hall in Bradford



Early art works from Bradford born David Hockney will be on display at Cartwright Hall in Bradford between Saturday, December 15th 2012 and Sunday, April 14th 2013.

Prior to the exhibition an CartwrightHall will make an appeal to members of the public for any art that was created locally in Bradford.

Work from the early years of his career from when he was a student is to be sought to make the exhibition a truly local show.

Works to be shown include the oil on board painting “Bolton Junction, Eccleshill”, 1956 which is part of the Bradford Museums and Galleries collection.
